Appearance
Configure how the AnyFileBackup window behaves and how events are displayed in the Event Log.
- Close to tray
- When enabled, clicking the window's close button (×) minimises AnyFileBackup to the system tray instead of closing the application. To exit the application fully, right-click the tray icon and choose Exit.
- Maximum lines in Event Log
- The maximum number of entries retained in the Event Log display. Default is 200. Using a lower value is recommended if memory usage is a concern, particularly when many tasks run frequently.
- Show columns in Event Log
-
Select which columns are visible in the Event Log. Each column can be toggled independently:
- Status — success, warning, or error indicator.
- Date — the date on which the event occurred.
- Time — the time at which the event occurred.
- Group name — the group the task belongs to.
- Task name — the name of the task that generated the event.
- Messages — the event description or error message.
