Windows Service
Install the AnyFileBackup Task Processor as a Windows service so it starts automatically with Windows, without requiring a user to log in.
Install
- User account name
- The Windows user account under which the service will run. Must be entered in the format .\Username (with a leading dot and backslash). For example: .\BackupUser.
- User account password
- The password for the specified Windows user account.
- Startup type
- Set to Automatic during installation. The startup type can be changed afterwards in the Windows Services Manager (services.msc).
- Install
- Click to install the Windows service using the account details entered above.
Uninstall
- Uninstall
- Click to remove the Task Processor Windows service. AnyFileBackup must not be connected to the service when this button is clicked.
- Services manager
- Opens the Windows Services Manager (services.msc), where you can adjust the startup type, account, or recovery options for the installed service.
