Certificate Account
Store a private key certificate used for FTPS client authentication.
Certificate
Certificate accounts store a private key file used when an FTP server requires client certificate authentication (typically with FTPS). The server uses the corresponding public key to verify the client's identity.
- Private key file
- The path to the private key file. The format depends on the FTP server and the certificate authority that issued it.
- Key password
- The passphrase protecting the private key file, if one was set when the key was created. Leave blank if the key has no passphrase.
- Confirm password
- Retype the key password to verify it was entered correctly.
Miscellaneous
- Account name
- A custom name shown in the account list. If left blank, the key filename is used.
- Notes
- Free-text notes about this account.
- Used by
- A read-only list of tasks that reference this account.
- Account ID
- A unique identifier for this account. Use the Copy to clipboard button to copy it. This value cannot be changed.
- Modified
- The date and time the account was last modified. Updated automatically.
- Created
- The date and time the account was created. Cannot be changed.
