Recipient List
Define sender and recipient addresses for e-mail notifications sent by AnyFileBackup.
E-Mail Message
- From
-
The sender name and e-mail address that appear in the From field of outgoing messages. Two sub-fields:
- Name — the display name shown to recipients (e.g. AnyFileBackup).
- Address — the e-mail address (e.g. backup@company.com).
Some mail servers override the From address with the account login address regardless of this setting. If left blank, some servers (especially free services) may reject the message — it is best practice to use the address associated with the outgoing mail account.
- To
- The primary recipients. Enter one address per line. Addresses may be formatted as "Name" <name@mailserver.com> or just name@mailserver.com.
- Cc
- Carbon copy recipients. These addresses are visible to all recipients. Same format as To — one address per line.
- Bcc
- Blind carbon copy recipients. These addresses are not visible to any other recipients, including other Bcc recipients. Same format as To — one address per line.
- Subject
- The default subject line for e-mail messages using this recipient list.
Miscellaneous
- Display title
- A custom name shown in the account list. If left blank, the first recipient address is used.
- Notes
- Free-text notes about this account.
- Used by
- A read-only list of tasks that reference this account.
- Account ID
- A unique identifier for this account. Use the Copy to clipboard button to copy it. This value cannot be changed.
- Modified
- The date and time the account was last modified. Updated automatically.
- Created
- The date and time the account was created. Cannot be changed.
