S3 Cloud Storage Account
Store access credentials for an S3-compatible cloud storage provider.
Service Provider
These credentials are used to access any S3-compatible cloud storage server. Compatible providers include Amazon AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, IDrive e2, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud, DigitalOcean Spaces, Wasabi, MinIO, and others.
- Provider endpoint
- The gateway endpoint URL used to access the S3 provider's server. For Amazon S3, this is typically region-specific (e.g. s3.amazonaws.com). Other providers supply their own endpoint URLs in their documentation.
- Access key
- The Access Key ID issued by the S3 cloud storage provider for this account.
- Secret key
- The Secret Access Key issued by the S3 cloud storage provider. Treat this value as a password — do not share it.
Miscellaneous
- Account name
- A custom name shown in the account list. If left blank, the endpoint address is used.
- Notes
- Free-text notes about this account.
- Used by
- A read-only list of tasks that reference this account.
- Account ID
- A unique identifier for this account. Use the Copy to clipboard button to copy it. This value cannot be changed.
- Modified
- The date and time the account was last modified. Updated automatically.
- Created
- The date and time the account was created. Cannot be changed.
