WebDAV Account
Store connection details for a WebDAV server.
WebDAV Server
- Host
- The address of the WebDAV server, typically starting with webdav:// (plain) or webdavs:// (secure).
- Port
- The port used to connect to the WebDAV server. Default: 433. Leave blank to use the default automatically.
- Username
- The login name used to authenticate on the WebDAV server.
- Password
- The password for the specified username.
- Confirm password
- Retype the password to verify it was entered correctly. AnyFileBackup will not save the account if the two entries do not match.
- Use SSL
- When enabled, data is exchanged with the WebDAV server over SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), preventing unauthorised access to transferred data. Enabling SSL is recommended unless there is a specific reason not to.
- Verify host name
- When enabled, AnyFileBackup verifies during the SSL handshake that the WebDAV server's hostname matches the name in its SSL certificate. Disable this only when the server uses a self-signed certificate where the actual hostname and the certificate's hostname do not match.
- Follow redirect
- When enabled, AnyFileBackup follows redirect instructions from the WebDAV server. When disabled, redirects are ignored.
- Connection timeout, sec
- How long AnyFileBackup waits for the server to respond during the initial connection. If no response is received within this time, the connection is treated as an error. Default: 30 seconds.
