Logging and Statistics
Configure logging properties and view statistics for groups, tasks, and accounts.
Logging
This group of options defines logging properties of AnyFileBackup and some general statistics for groups, tasks, and accounts.
- Log details
- The type of events that will be displayed in the AnyFileBackup Event List. It is generally recommended not to use the Debug mode unless advised by the support service.
- Maximum log size
- The maximum size of the AnyFileBackup log file in megabytes. When the log file reaches its limit, it is packed and backed up in the \ProgramData\AnyFileBackup\logs folder (retained according to the Keep log history setting below), and a new log file is started in its place.
- Keep log history

The time period in calendar days during which backed-up AnyFileBackup log files are preserved. Upon expiration of this period, outdated files are automatically deleted and cannot be recovered.
Log files are stored in \ProgramData\AnyFileBackup\logs.
Statistics
- Number of groups
- Displays the total number of groups.
- Number of tasks
- Displays the total number of tasks across all groups.
- Number of accounts
- Displays the total number of accounts across all account types.
