Source — Mailbox
Configure an e-mail mailbox as the Source for a task. AnyFileBackup processes e-mail attachments only.
E-mail Account
AnyFileBackup retrieves e-mail attachments only from the mailbox. The mailbox must be accessible via IMAP or POP3.
- Connect via account
- Select a pre-configured incoming mail account from the drop-down list. Press Configure to open the Incoming E-mail Accounts manager where you can create and configure accounts.
File Filters
- Include the listed files only
- Only attachments whose filenames match the listed masks are included in the task scope; all others are excluded. Wildcards and regex are supported.
- Exclude the listed files
- Attachments whose filenames match the listed masks are excluded from the task scope; all others are included.
- Header name

An inclusive e-mail filter: only messages whose specified header field matches the Header text criteria are processed; all other messages are excluded. Choose which header field to inspect:
- From — the sender's name and e-mail address.
- Subject — the message subject line.
- To — the primary recipient's name and e-mail address. Messages where the recipient appears only in CC or BCC will not be matched.
- Header text
- The words or phrases to search for in the selected header field. The search is case-sensitive. Regular expressions are supported.
Miscellaneous
- Delete received messages
- When enabled, messages that have been processed by AnyFileBackup are moved to the mailbox Bin (Trash) folder after processing. Messages that were filtered out (did not match the File Filters criteria) are not deleted.
